This is Boston. on Flickr.Via Flickr:
The view of the city from the Skywalk Observatory atop of the Prudential Tower.
In my 20 years of my existence, I’ve never seen Boston like this before. I paid 11 bucks for a ticket and took the elevator up to the 50th floor of the Prudential Center. I felt my heart pounding when I was going up, and when the doors opened I knew the $11 paid off. A great 360 degree view of the city I love was there waiting for me to explore.
I found a little corner to set up my gear facing east out of the tower. I waited until after sunset when the sky was a deep blue and the city lights began to turn on and twinkle. It was the perfect moment. My shots were a 15 second exposure but the results had a glare from the behind me through the window. I had to steadily cup my hands around my lens for the exposure to block out all the reflections.

View of Market St. and the rest of the city from Twin Peaks at night.
After our failed attempt to see the view of the city (described here), the fog cleared out the last night I was in SF. I literally jumped out of the car with my camera and tripod when I saw the view when we stopped at the top. My family came out to see the view too, but after a few minutes they we back in the car. I was still out in the cold taking shots :P I was waiting for the perfect moment where some cars were driving down the road.
This literally was the best way to end my trip :) Hopefully I will be returning soon.
